the orange sheep has been observing (and interacting with) shoppers since the 90s, as well as observing (and being one of) the people that ‘study’ and ‘market to’ shoppers for a living.
Increasingly, marketeers go on and on about putting the shopper at the center of their thinking and their way of marketing – but the orange sheep isn’t seeing changes at retail that would suggest they really are living their words. (And this sheep has chewed the grass in plenty of pastures: he knows the smell of BS when he comes across it!)
So with this blog, the orange sheep challenges shopper marketers to reimagine the way they approach shopper marketing: putting the shopper first – and truly at the center of how we do business in consumer retailing.
